Does Miralax Have A Taste

: I will make you fishers of men Sunday - January 23, 2011 Isaiah 49:1-6

Matthew 4/12-25

12 When he learned that John was arrested, Jesus withdrew to Galilee. 13 He left Nazareth and dwelt in Capernaum, near the sea to the borders of Zebulun and Naphtali, 14 to that fulfill the word of the prophet Isaiah:

15 Earth Zebulun and land of Naphtali, country near the sea, beyond Jordan, Galilee of the Gentiles;

16 The people which sat in darkness, Saw a great light, And those who sat And in the country in the shadow of death a light has dawned.

17 From that time Jesus began to preach and say: Repent for the kingdom of heaven is near. 18 Along the Sea of Galilee, saw two brethren, Simon called Peter and Andrew his brother casting a net into the sea because they were fishermen. 19 He told them: "Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men. 20 they straightway left their nets and followed him.

21 Going further, he saw two other brothers, Jacques, son of Zebedee and John his brother, who were in a boat with Zebedee their father, mending their nets. 22 He called, and immediately they left the boat and their father and followed him.

23 Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the gospel of the kingdom and healing every disease and every infirmity among the people.

"I will make you fishers of men"

"Come after me and I will make you fishers of men." Those who are familiar with the Scriptures are so accustomed to this expression they measure only what it ad'incongrue. Fishing given by Jesus is to bring to life the men who will be caught, or when you go fishing, this is generally not for the well being of what is fishing. Fish caught are destined to die then to be eaten. Yet using the term Jesus mean well mean the opposite. He wants to leave the men where they are so they can live properly.

But men are not amphibians, they do not live in water. The water takes on a symbolic value. In the language of the Bible water is the place where the forces hostile to God. In the Bible, the mass of water from the sea is always hostile to men. In the creation story or one of crossing the Red Sea, God must control the force of the water who resist it. In both cases, he must defend waters, that is to say, he should do violence to their cause something that looks like a birth. In the creation story is to liberate the land trapped by the water it does so, and the earth opens just born to life. In the case of the Red Sea, is for free passage to the Hebrews in which water stands in the way it operates and causes the birth of a people.

Jesus, meanwhile, had to repeatedly dominate the elements formed by the mass of water. He raised his voice against the storm calmed down immediately. He wanted to serve by is his power over the forces hostile to God and men. When he walked on the sea he expressed by his gesture to his power to dominate the elements!

If men are compared to fish it takes for the sin out of the water that he believes that men who are always invested by hostile forces need a new birth for a living. Jesus considers that its task is to release them as soon as possible for God to complete his work in them. To conduct this salutary action, Jesus needs our help and that is why he called for volunteers such as Peter and Andrew and the others ... and ourselves.

But what are these hostile forces? If we say that is evil or sin, we will not advance much. The biblical context us back here in the atmosphere of the creation. It takes us back when it is said that God divided the waters above from the waters and down to earth and emerge in a dry place.

Jesus invites us back into this mythical moment when the earth was still mired in the hurly-burly of primitive when the whole creation has been shot to become the world . But it was not over, the sixth day was not completed. As regards the man he had also yet to be released the original matrix which stuck to the skin and soul.

It is because what we aim to do well but never get there completely, it is because why we tend to take advantage of our neighbors when our reason tells us otherwise, it is because of why men can not love those who are indifferent and their is because of this that their selfishness is stronger than their love. In fact you understand the creation the man is not yet complete. The man is not finished, it is being created. He must changes in living environment to thrive. The environment in which it is crippling its development that can be done by God.

Like God who mastered chaos, Jesus seeks partners to continue with him to pursue the liberation of men who are not yet reached their final maturity.

God began this work from the beginning.

The spirit is the part of ourselves that is boiling constant and never-ending progress. In this ceaseless activity, we do not realize that our mind is not autonomous. To become conformed to the image of God, as the Creator's plan, we need every man to take the fingerprints of God otherwise, he suffocated. Despite the proximity of its creator, each has yet to discover. God, for his part, who wants his creation to be free refrain to intervene in a binding manner. Historically, it has bet that man will would turn freely to him and become his own image without the need to manhandle to give this supplement Soul needed.

But the man remains a creature free, that's what the Bible means by saying it is a stiff-necked creature. He is wary of anything that does not know. Until he got to know his God he turns away from him. The denial of God is conceived by man as spiritual action most elaborate he has managed to undertake. is why Western societies claiming to seek advanced to separate the idea of God and make atheism the most developed stage of human spirituality.

Yet God gives not. He knows that it blows his mind about the world from the origins is capable of reversing the tide. He knows that the passage of Jesus on earth men caused of unparalleled insights. Since his arrival in the world has witnessed new behaviors. The company of Jesus is to mobilize employees to go fishing with their similar bore fruit. That is why we must persevere. We must by all means, call people to let themselves be seized by God, otherwise they will never reach the perfect knowledge of their humanity.

What's more exciting than participating in the performance of humanity? What's more exciting than becoming the closest collaborators of God and to participate with him in completion of creation? This is the program that we proposed. It seems even there is urgency to accomplish that's why the brothers Jacques and Jean drop everything, including their old father in the boat to answer this call exciting.

We must note, however, that often the most enthusiastic men stopped halfway. Churches tend to wrong target becoming self-consuming of hello. They never tire of preaching salvation in the closed circles of their communities. They lead their members to acquire hello they have already acquired and to meditate with excitement on the kindness of God that keeps the save. They are witnesses hello individual members and are reluctant to give priority to the deep-sea fishing to participate in the salvation of others.

Jesus convinced us that there was urgency in dealing with men who suffocated from God. We know they can not find their salvation in the knowledge of God. Must by their behavior Christians are signs of hope for all men. Let those who aspire to be released of disease, poverty and injustice that continue to stand far from God discover the truth about their lives. Must the hope that is within us radiates beyond ourselves. We need to be a Christian boldly. It's easy to say, less easy to do, but that's what we asked him who has saved us.
